Actor Jon Voight smacks down reporter: "Obama has taken over media"

This is why I love Jon Voight. He is absolutely fearless, among the den of lions that is Hollywood liberalism:
"You will not get information in the main media. Romney gives a speech in Jerusalem; a very important speech; a terrific speech. It was not reported in the main press. They didn't show it. Any little thing that Obama does, they put it front and center. If he (Obama) makes a mistake they cut it out... The Republican party is the victim of a destructive bias from the left media... the left is a destructive force in the world and its allies are destructive. When I say the left; what they're experiencing all over Europe - it's dangerous! The left-wing press is spreading propaganda continuously... The media has been overtaken by this (Obama) administration, in no less a way than Hugo Chavez took over the press in Venezuela. I never thought I would live to see the day, the mainstream media refused to cover this (Republican National) Convention. Can you imagine this? They say, 'We'll give you an hour', they'll edit an hour. What are they going to edit out? What story are they gonna tell? It will be the same garbage and they'll try and twist it into something unpleasant."
Watch the whole video below. It's invigorating:

Ann Romney's RNC Speech: "Game Changer"

I was on set filming all day Tuesday and, regrettably, I missed Ann Romney's speech at the Republican National Convention. I just watched it online with my wife and was nearly moved to tears. I have never heard such a powerful, from the heart, speech at a political convention. Behind every great man is an even greater woman. Though I am not a great man, the latter is certainly true in my case, and it is undoubtedly true in Mitt's case. I now know why Ann is being referred to as the "Game Changer". This one line sums up why Mitt Romney should have the vote of every true American, and I quote:
"This is important. I want you to hear what I am going to say. Mitt does not like to talk about how he has helped others because he sees it as a privilege, not a political talking point. (STANDING OVATION)" - Ann Romney, RNC, 8/28/12
Please, watch her speech below and share it with your social circles. Now, more than ever before, America needs Ann and Mitt in the White House:

Read the transcript from Ann's speech here.

Mitt wont talk about the help he has rendered to others, but I will. Please read my previous blog, Money Talks, filled with true accounts of his quiet service and generous giving to others. How polar opposite this is from Obama, who is so estranged from his own kin in Nairobi that his brother turned to the producer of the movie "2016: Obama's America," who he only knew casually, for help with his $1,000 medical bill.

God Save The United States of America and let's make sure Mitt Romney replaces Obama, January 20th 2013!

Obama: The King of Perception Deception (Fake Twitter Followers!)

New York Times re-post:

70% of Obama's Twitter/Facebook followers are fake.

Simple math: over 13 million of his 19 million followers are purchased fake accounts.

How Does This Film Make You Feel?

I break from my usual post topic to bring you this inspiring video featuring Jason Mraz's "I Won't Give Up". The choreography is breathtaking, and the cinematography equally stunning. The clients behind this film want to hear what your reactions to it are in the YouTube comments; specifically how the film made you feel. It's just 4 short, highly entertaining minutes. Check it out and leave a YouTube comment for the Producers:

Romney vs. Obama On Campaign Finances: No Romney Debt vs. $2.4M Obama Debt

I came across Wikipedia's page "Fundraising for the 2012 United States presidential election" today and was pleasantly surprised at what I found. Only two candidates have operated entirely debt free: Mitt Romney and Ron Paul.

Now, contrast this with Barack Obama, who (in Q2) overspent campaign funds by by nearly $6.6 million. The Obama campaign, in Q2, raised $110,759,403.51 but they spent $117,318,858.33. The Obama campaign also carried $2,388,103.70 in debt at the end of Q2.

The Romney campaign has never been in debt and has never over spent. In fact, they under spent by nearly $1.3 Million in Q2. As a film producer with a reputation for never going over budget, I can appreciate Romney's financial prudence. If I went over budget on my projects, I would not be hired again. Is this not what we should demand of the President of the United States? Why is it any different? Why should we hire a man who has gone over budget by more than 6 TRILLION DOLLARS? If Obama stays in office, it is estimated, by 2022, the US national debt will reach $26 Trillion. Obama's destruction on America in the form of fiscal insanity must stop this November. The reality of this prospect increases each month, as the Romney campaign continues to massively out fund the Obama campaign.

July Fundraising 2012
Romney campaign: $101M
Obama campaign: $75M

June Fundraising 2012
Romney campaign: $106.1M
Obama campaign: $71M

May Fundraising 2012
Romney campaign: $77M
Obama campaign: $60M

Finally, although August totals are not yet known, the Romney/Ryan "Comeback Team" raised over $10M in the first week since Ryan's appointment as VP, so expect the Romney/Ryan campaign to widen the fundraising gap even more come end of this month.

"2016: Obama's America" Must-See Film For All True Americans

As a Conservative, I recommend  "2016: Obama's America" as a must-see, critical film for anyone who considers themselves a true American. Regardless of who you support politically, the information presented in this film is alarming, verifiable, and absolutely indispensable for all Americans to know before they cast their votes in November. Rotten Tomatoes audience score for the film comes in very high at 86%. "Hunger Games" got an 85% audience rating, for reference.

As a filmmaker, I'd be remiss if I didn't also give a critical review of "2016: Obama's America". The information leading to the conclusion of the film (which I won't spoil for you) flows quite well and is, by and large, dynamically presented. However, some of the audio was less than standard and the focus is soft on Dinesh D'Souza, the co-director/producer of the film, in one of the first interviews; this was extremely distracting for me. That said, most things which distract me in films are lightly noticed, if at all, by normal moviegoers. Besides, most folks (including myself) are not watching this film to be entertained, but rather to be informed. As a low budget film with box office sales topping $2.1 Million in its opening weeks, this film has definitely been a profitable venture for its creators. I hope it will be even more profitable for the American people who will see the side of Obama that mainstream media refuses to cover, and which the Obama regime has sought very aggressively to hide from public knowledge.

If the cover of the latest Newsweek magazine ("Hit the road Barack") is any indication of true public opinion, than I have hope we will see a new President elected in November; one who actually cherishes what America stands for and one who will strengthen our defenses, rather than diminish them as Obama has.

One startling fact presented in "2016: Obama's America": President Obama has reduced our nuclear warheads from 5000, when he took office, to a mere 1500. And he has proposed we disarm more of them! 1500 just so happens to be the number of nuclear warheads that Russia has. Before Obama, America's nuclear power was 3 times that of any other country. Now we stand equal to Russia. Obama's words (off mic) to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev (regarding our nuclear warheads!) is a frightening insight to his intentions if given a second term:
"This is my last election. After my election, I have more flexibility"

Obama intends to disarm America and downgrade her position as the leader of the free world. How different this is from Mitt Romney, who has said, "(A Strong America) is the best ally world peace has ever known."

I whole heartedly agree with Newsweeks' latest cover, but to say, "We Need A New President," is an understatement. We don't just need a new President; we need Ronald Reagan and in the absence of him, Mitt Romney is a superb candidate. If Obama gets a second term, we can all say goodbye to the America intended by our Founding Fathers.
"[W]hen the resolution of enslaving America was formed in Great Britain, the British Parliament was advised by an artful man, - who was governor of Pennsylvania, to disarm the people; that it was the best and most effectual way to enslave them; but that they should not do it openly, but weaken them, and let them sink gradually, by totally disusing and neglecting the militia." --George Mason, speech in the Virginia Ratifying Convention, 1788 (emphasis added)

Romney/Ryan "Comeback Team" Rakes In Support; Dwarfs Obama Campaign

Romney/Ryan "Comeback Team"
If you haven't gotten the memo from the Romney campaign, you need to read it. I'm posting the memo below in its entirety. They are making history with these numbers:

Subject: Obama is shaken
From: Matt Rhoades
Re: America’s Comeback Team
Date: 8/17/2012

Tomorrow marks a week since Mitt Romney announced his choice of Congressman Paul Ryan to join him on America’s Comeback Team, and it’s clear that his choice has reshaped the race in a positive way.  The Obama team’s increasing vitriol is a sure sign that they’re rattled by the pick.  Unable to engage in an elevated policy debate, they’ve spent the past few days drowning in their own venom.

President Obama is on defense over his $716 billion raid of current Medicare beneficiaries to pay for Obamacare, and allowing the hospital trust fund to go broke by the time those aged 50 or below are Medicare eligible.  The political director of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee warned this week that the issue could cost Democrats the election.
At the same time, the Romney Plan for a Stronger Middle Class is gaining traction.  Voters in the swing states believe that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have a better plan than Barack Obama and Joe Biden “to reduce the deficit, create jobs and get the economy moving.”
Polling data shows Romney gaining since the announcement.  Both Gallup and Rasmussen show us leading Obama in national polling, and recent statewide polling shows us picking up ground in Ohio and Virginia.
While President Obama’s team continues its campaign of frustration and division to distract voters from his failed record, the Romney-Ryan team will continue offering solutions to the challenges facing our nation.  America is ready for a comeback and if this past week is any indication, America’s comeback will begin on November 6th.
Data from “Purple Poll” conducted August 13-14, 2012. (italics/bold emphasis added)

I finish with a direct quote from one of the most divisive administrations in the history of the United States; Obama said to a Hispanic audience, "We’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us." And he has done exactly that. Solyndra scandal anyone?

Actor/Director, Darin Southam, Endorses Mitt Romney for President

LIKE Darin Southam's fan page here
On August 6th, Actor/Director Darin Southam tweeted:
"With the endorsements of Clint Eastwood, Robert Duvall, and Jon Voight, I add my own endorsement of Mitt Romney for President of the United States. As a tender family man and an astute job creator, Romney is exactly what our country needs. LIKE if you join me!"
In July, Barack Obama seethed one of the most offensive comments a President of the United States has ever made. By now, we all know what he said, "If you've got a business, you didn't build that. Someone else made that happen." His comments are not surprising if you consider the fact that the number of Americans on government assistance (not including Social Security, or Medicare) has doubled under Obama's excuse for a presidency. According to Dick Morris, 1/3 of the country is receiving government assistance. That's over 100,000,000 people on welfare! To add insult (catastrophic damage) to injury, Obama just quietly removed the work requirement from the Welfare Act, which will inevitably cause the government dependency surge to continue spiking upward. Angry yet? If you want to destroy America, you don't declare to the country your intentions... no, no, a master manipulator - Obama - masks his intentions behind the facade of assisting the poor (itself a noble endeavor). Thus, appealing to our decency, Obama simultaneously buries our country in morally-crippling, fiscally unsustainable entitlements. Now, watch Obama's comments in context (it really is as bad as it sounds):

The Romney campaign immediately... well... capitalized on this offense to all Americans, particularly small business owners, and started a "Built by US" YouTube campaign. This "Built by US" campaign invites small business owners across the country to submit their response to Obama's degrading statement. The campaign has been very successful.

For those interested in following Darin Southam's career, see his work here. Additionally, you can read his bio on the Internet Movie Database:
Darin is the youngest of 5 siblings. Born in the small town of Vernal, Utah April 17th, 1979, he has cowboy roots; but his late father was a pilot and consequently the family moved around a lot. A week after Darin's 17th birthday, his father died of a heart attack at 50 years old. As the last child in the home, at 17, Darin became the man of the house. Most of Darin's childhood and adolescence occurred in Vancouver, Washington. After graduating from Mountain View high school he moved to Idaho to attend Brigham Young University. Southam's athleticism usually got the best of him, playing full-contact football since he was 11 years old. He walked on the football team at BYU and received "Running Back of the Week" award his first week on the team, in addition to holding the lateral movement speed record for 1997. After his first year of college, he moved to El Salvador for two years, while he served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Upon returning to the United States, he finished school at the University of Utah, where he graduated with a BA in Speech Communication.
Darin's affinity for acting started in Jr. High when he took a drama class and was cast as the lead in his first play. Southam continued to act in plays until he sought out his first agent when he was 22. Less than 6 months after obtaining an agent he booked his first principle role as the football jock, Yardely, in the Disney film "Going To The Mat,". He's seen as the bully who pins Fly (Khleo Thomas; Holes) against the locker for wearing a varsity letterman's jacket. The following year, Darin booked his next principle role in another Disney film "Halloweentown High," as the Troublemaker. This "type" cast of his previous Disney film involved playing a disruptive student who gets an eyeful after sassing Aggie Cromwell (Debbie Reynolds; Singin' in the Rain) and later he bullies Ethan (Lucas Grabeel; High School Musical). The following year, Southam read for the role of Wylie in the Disney film "Buffalo Dreams" and had the director all but convinced until he was asked his age (being 25 at the time). Though his real age influenced the director's decision not to cast him as a teenager, Darin booked a lead role as a 19 year old four years later in "One Man's Treasure". Eventually, Darin broke out of his Disney type cast and showed his ability to carry a film when he took a lead role as King Alfred in "The Saxon Chronicles," a festival circuit indie film that never made it to distribution. Southam then landed the lead role of Jeremy Harris in Discovery Channel's number one series at the time, "I Shouldn't Be Alive" following which he starred in "Gold Is Not Enough," an award-winning short film he co-wrote, where he played a spoof James Bond, who saves a Damsel in Distress (Emily Dunn; Napoleon Dynamite).
In spite of his success in film, Darin followed the more traditional path and moved his family to California to pursue a law degree. To his chagrin, his passions for film were, in his words, "nobly insatiable," and, while in California, he booked a role in Academy Award Nominated "127 Hours" as Zach, brother-in-law to Aron Ralston (James Franco; Spiderman). Although the role in "127 Hours" turned out to be smaller than anticipated, as the entire wedding scene was cut from the final edit, in Darin's words, it "brought (him) home to his true passion and set (him) back on course". He withdrew from law school to study acting at Playhouse West in North Hollywood. This, he says, "changed (his) acting career forever." Darin's latest lead roles include Marcus in "Last Man(s) On Earth," Tom in "Changing Hearts," and it was recently announced that he will be starring in T.C. Christensen's (Forever Strong; The Jerk Theory) next film as Ephraim Hanks, a mountain man hero (circa 1856), who saved a group of Mormon pioneers from frostbite and starvation near present-day Casper, Wyoming. Incidentally, Darin's role as Ephraim will demonstrate an age range of 16 to 30.
Director Kenlon Clark, aka KenX, has referred to Darin as "the Mormon Russell Crowe".
With a reputation as an extremely dedicated, semi-method actor (Darin has been known to travel 460 miles on a 250cc motorcycle to connect with a character), he consistently builds life-long industry relationships. Known personally to be a man of principle, Southam admires and stands with notable actors Jon Voight, Robert Duvall, and others who have championed conservative influence in Hollywood.
In addition to acting, Darin has directed commercials and short films for Adobe and other companies, with the goal to direct his first worldwide feature before he is 35.

Obama Defrauds Small Business Owner To Get Them On Film: Refuses To Take Down Ad

This is how our current President does things: He lies to a small business owner, in order to film their store, and then places it in his political ad without their permission. When the small business owner reports the fraud and demands the ad be taken down? Silence from the Obama camp. Obama is a liar with no class, who is a law unto himself. How many times must it be proven to us to see Obama for what he is? Watch video below and see for yourself:

Obama: The No Budget President Falters Further With Ryan Budget Attacks

Paul Ryan, VP Choice
Only one day after Paul Ryan is selected as Mitt Romney's VP, the Obama campaign unleashes a vicious attack of lies against him, seeking to define Ryan before the Romney campaign can. This is classic Obama/Axelrod - ATTACK and put your opponent in constant defense mode; all the while distracting the American populous of the real facts of your own real scandals. Hmmm, let's take a walk in history and see who else had this attack strategy:
"Strength lies not in defense but in attack." -Adolf Hitler
Maybe this is why Obama is attacking Romney's unreleased tax returns and inventing scandals that don't even exist, while spending millions concealing his own college records at Columbia, which undoubtedly would show he attended on tax payers' dime as a foreign exchange student (non-US citizen). In other words, he exploited his foreign status (because it served him at the time) in order to freeload on the American tax-paying citizens. Then Mr. Fraud-In-Chief simply sweeps these college records under the rug because his "foreign exchange" status, which served him so well to freeload, would now render him ineligible to serve as President. But, no matter, Mitt still has not released his last 50 years of tax returns so he's the bad guy! Watch former Obama classmate, Wayne Allyn Root, who doesn't even remember Obama (or Barry Soetoro), call Obama's scandal out at Columbia:

FACT: Obama still does not have a 2013 budget, nor does he have a 2012 approved budget.

Obama's 2013 budget proposal was defeated, 414-0! Not a single Republican OR Democrat voted in favor of Obama's excuse for a budget and his incompetence with frivolous spending.

What's worse, this rejection of Obama's 2013 budget comes after Obama's 2012 budget was also defeated unanimously, 97-0!

Now, Obama, the most fiscally incompetent President in recorded history, has the audacity to attack Paul Ryan's budget. Were it not so serious, it would be laughable. I don't know about you, but I cannot stand to listen to one more of Obama's bold-face lies.

Watch Ryan systimatically destroy Obama on how his health care bill is a fiscal ponzi scheme. PS... this video has exploded viral since the announcement of Ryan as Mitt's running mate; only a week ago, this video had a mere 30,000 views (now at 730,000 and counting):

Still think Ryan isn't good with numbers? The best part is Obama's face as he sweats bullets listening. And to quote from Mr. Ryan:
"I'll respectfully disagree with the Vice President about what the American people are or are not saying or whether we're qualified to speak on their behalf... We are all representatives of the American people... and I've gotta tell ya, the American people are engaged and if you think they want a government takeover of health care I would respectfully submit, you're not listening to them."
Down with irresponsible Spender-In-Chief this November and let's make the Romney/Ryan Victory Come Back Team, a team that actually understands the real world and how numbers work, the fiscal salvation of America.

I end with another message from Paul Ryan on how, for political gain, Obama and his regime ignored the prevention of the most preventable financial collapse in history - our current recession:

Romney/Ryan 2013!

Formerly "Gay" Professor Speaks: Children Of Same-Sex Couples Are NOT "Just fine"

Edited photo courtesy of yearbookyourself.com
Robert Oscar Lopez is a formerly "gay" and also formerly "bi-sexual" man, who grew up in a household with two "lesbian" mothers. Robert is now straight, married with children, and a Conservative English professor at California State University Northridge. He's been through a difficult journey to say the least. His experience is honest and awakening to the decisions that face this nation (the United States of America), and the agendas currently being forced upon Americans from the judicial bench. The homosexual activists are trying to silence Robert, as they have all ex-"gays" who have spoken up. Most poignant to me was what Lopez said about how he has been treated by "gay" activists, which experience has been the same for all of my personal, ex-"gay" friends, who have denounced the "gay" lifestyle. Robert defends Mark Regnerus' revealing study, showing the negative affects of same-sex parents on their children. Robert is uniquely qualified to defend such a study, obviously, because he grew up in such a home. Yet, he, as well as Mark, are being squashed by liberal media seeking to discredit Mark's study as "bull$%#$" (isn't this just how "gay" activists act - all the time; so kind, so tolerant?). Here are some excerpts from Robert's discourse:
"Though I have a biography particularly relevant to gay issues, the first person who contacted me to thank me for sharing my perspective on LGBT issues was Mark Regnerus, in an email dated July 17, 2012. I was not part of his massive survey, but he noticed a comment I’d left on a website about it and took the initiative to begin an email correspondence. Forty-one years I’d lived, and nobody—least of all gay activists—had wanted me to speak honestly about the complicated gay threads of my life. If for no other reason than this, Mark Regnerus deserves tremendous credit—and the gay community ought to be crediting him rather than trying to silence him."
"...we do have a choice to live as gay or straight, and we do have to decide the gender configuration of the household in which our children will grow up. (original emphasis)"
And here is where nearly all "gay" activists miss the boat. It is not about OUR rights to marry whom we choose; it is about the children's rights to have a father and a mother. Spoken so well by Lopez here:
"Once I was a father, I put aside my own homosexual past and vowed never to divorce my wife or take up with another person, male or female, before I died. I chose that commitment in order to protect my children from dealing with harmful drama, even as they grow up to be adults. When you are a parent, ethical questions revolve around your children and you put away your self-interest . . . forever. (emphasis added)"
Please READ THE ENTIRE DISCOURSE HERE and please share it. The world, particularly Americans, deserve to know the truth about the lie of homosexuality.

Mainstream Media Plays Hitler's Game For Obama: True Polls, Romney Leads

In my daily conversations, I'm astounded there are still so many people who think Obama is winning the presidential race and is on track for a second term. With mainstream media obviously in the bag for Obama, feeding us lies of sunny days in the Obama camp, it's understandable people start believing it. After all, that is how Hitler controlled things too - lies propagated through the media - including movies. These words are a chilling reminder of what Obama is doing this very moment:
"How fortunate for leaders that men do not think. Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it... By the skillful and sustained use of propaganda, one can make a people see even heaven as hell or an extremely wretched life as paradise." - Adolf Hilter
Anyone see "The Dictator" yet? Tell me that movie doesn't smack of Obama's joking attitude toward anyone who questions his authority. And what is the label Obama has come to receive? The Dictator. If anyone doubts the influence the Democrats have in Hollywood, take a walk in history and watch "The American President". Before I knew anything about politics, I used to really like that film. I watched it recently and was absolutely sickened at the unveiled influence of the Democrats' message: Democrats = eloquent, honest, handsome people, just trying to do what's right; Republicans = ugly, tactless, unpopular people full of evil intentions.

The blatant lie that Obama is winning this election could not be further from the truth. DO NOT BELIEVE IT. When you watch Dick Morris's report of the true poll numbers, you may be surprised to find out, Romney is leading almost all of them! Dick Morris, by the way, is one of the most trusted voices in politics.

You may not believe me but I tell you the truth when I say the Obama campaign is in trouble; they are falling apart; and they are desperate for support. Nearly everything the media circulates, with regard to Obama's favor, is a complete fabrication of truth and a gross distortion of his record. Yes, Obama has the black vote - of course he does, but the black vote will not win this election. Yes, Obama has the "gay" vote, but the "gay" vote will not win this election either (32 states ring a bell?). Besides the reality of the true poll numbers, nowhere is the desperation of the Obama campaign more obvious than in their own campaign emails.

FACT: For the first time in history, a sitting President is not just being out funded... he is being massively out funded. Just wanted to make sure you caught that - an incumbent has not been massively out funded in any previous presidential election in this country. Don't take my word for it, here is a campaign email "from Obama" himself with the subject, "Re: I will be outspent", in which he states:
"We're getting outraised -- a first for a sitting president... our opponent (Mitt Romney)... just outraised us for the second month in a row. We can win a race in which the other side spends more than we do. But not this much more."
Of course, Obama's emails go on to demonize Romney and his "big money buddies" while exalting himself as a "man of the people", yet they say nothing of Obama's big pocket terrorist donors like Soros and mention nothing of Obama's Solyndra scandal! How about Clooney, and Parker, and all the rest of his celebrity friends? Have they not given millions and raised millions to match it? Obama's hypocrisy knows no bounds.

And here is the same email he sent out about a week earlier stating, "I will be the first president in modern history to be outspent in his re-election campaign, if things continue as they have so far."

And feast your eyes on the blast of previous Obama camp emails literally begging for money:
  • 6/7/12 - "For the first time in this campaign, we got beat in fundraising. The Romney campaign and the Republican Party raised more than $76 million last month, compared to our $60 million. We knew this moment would come when Romney secured the nomination. What happens next is up to you."
  • 6/24/12 - "For the first time in modern American history, the incumbent (that's us) will get outspent in a re-election campaign -- by some estimates as much as 3-to-1... We have to take this seriously... we're falling behind."
  • 6/27/12 - "If we're drastically outspent in this election, there's a very good chance we will lose to Mitt RomneyThis is a distinct possibility. The financial landscape in this race has changed over the last few weeks. What concerns me is the Obama supporters I've encountered who don't understand that this is what we're facing (looks like all their positive media coverage is backfiring and causing their supporters to get complacent. Good!)."
  • 6/30/12 - "Today is one of the most important fundraising deadlines of this campaign so far. We might not outraise Mitt Romney. But I am determined to keep the margin close enough that we can win this election the right way (this is an eerie phrase... is Obama saying, if he can't win it the 'right' way, he will win it the wrong way, i.e. cheat, like he did in the last election?)."
  • 7/6/12 - "Romney... brought in more than $100 million in June. For context, that's about what we raised in April and May combined. We're still tallying our own numbers, but this means their gap is getting wider, and if it continues at this pace, it could cost us the election."
  • 7/7/12 (the very next day!) - "We're facing a big problem right now that could directly affect the outcome (election) day. The Romney campaign... raised $100 million in the month of June alone. That is a massive sum... we've got to keep it close."
  • 7/9/12 - "June was our best fundraising month yet... a grand total of $71 million raised for this campaign... Bad news? We still got beat. Handily. Romney... pulled in a whopping $106 million. So, to recap: We... fell about $35 million short... we need to keep it close."
  • 7/29/12 - "(Subject) Romney defeats Obama? - When you read the news 101 days from now, that might be the headline you see... Don't let anyone convince you that this is a sure thing... we already know they'll outspend us by a good amount."
  • 7/30/12 (the next day) - "(Subject): This will be blunt: - This isn't hyperbole or exaggeration: If we don't win this election, it will be because we didn't close the spending gap when we could... we're running out of time to close the money gap when it really matters."
  • 7/30/12 (the same day!) - "Yep, me again. Surprise: I'm here to ask you for money (if that's not begging I don't know what is!)... To be frank, we've gotten our behinds handed to us the past two FEC deadlines by Mitt Romney."
  • 7/31/12 (the next day) - "Over the past two months, we have been outraised by our opponents."
Someone should inform the Obama campaign that two emails in the same day, with a following email the very next day, asking for money, is considered spam. I'm not the only one who is raising the spam flag either. The mere frequency alone of these emails says one thing - desperation - but the tone is also undeniably desperate.

I end where I began. As Dick Morris puts it:
"... don’t believe the garbage being put out by the media. The attempt to portray Romney as not catching on and as dropping in the polls is ludicrous. It is, at best, the product of incompetent polling and, at worst, the result of deliberate media bias. But Romney is winning and expanding his lead each week. That’s the real story."
To all of you good Americans out there who have any doubt that Romney is making traction, hold on a little longer. Have faith. Trust in America. We have a better future ahead than the socialistic "transformation" Obama seeks to unilaterally inflict upon us. Romney is doing more than just making traction--he's winning and it is my sincere belief that Romney will win by landslide in this, the most important election of our republic's history. But, there is a caveat - we must not let down our defense, but rather we must use the knowledge of Romney's lead to take the offensive position and put a full-court press on the Obama regime with all the vigor we possess. Comment on facebook, spread youtube videos, get the truth out and let's take back our country!

God Save The United States of America and, through our efforts, come November, the headlines will read, "Romney defeats Obama".

Actions Speak Louder Than Words: Homosexual Activists' Example Turns People Away

Yesterday, I had to "unfriend" someone on facebook. I always have a hard time with this, and it isn't something I do very hastily. I try very hard to have a diverse group of friends, who vary in social and political opinions. I do this to avoid falling into the tendency of surrounding myself with people who agree with me, to the exclusion of those who do not. I find, those who isolate themselves in this way, often have a very false sense of reality. I never want to be accused of "living in a bubble," because I am conservative. In all of my political and social activism, I have learned tolerance for people's expressions of opinion. I am forgiving, to a fault, and am very slow to take offense.

The person I unfriended yesterday happens to consider himself "gay", and as you can imagine, because I support marriage as God defined it, we don't agree on some issues. I had posted my previous blog, "Christian Censorship NOT Accepted: Chick-fil-A and America Win Big" on my facebook wall and my former friend commented:
"Losing millions of customers forever is not winning big. Stupid business move to throw away any customers... Oh, and just so you know, Im gay and a CHRISTIAN!... history of companies that take a public stance like this, the majority have paid the price for it."
Before my analysis could even begin to start firing I was dumbfounded by the absolute denial of truth, by suggesting Chick-fil-A is somehow suffering financially because of Cathy's fearless (personal) defense of the Biblical definition of marriage. Chick-fil-A broke a world record for restaurant sales and took in over $100 million in a single day this Wednesday; they could probably afford to take the rest of the year off! And, for those who haven't been following Chick-fil-A's facebook fan count, they have been growing at a rate of over 4000 new fans a day, since the Chicago boycott issue got national attention in July. As I write, Chick-fil-A is approaching 6.2 million facebook fans. To allege Chick-fil-A is hurting financially, or to hint they will suffer monetarily in the future because of a public stance their President has personally taken, is a gross manipulation of facts and a dishonor to the sound mind. Contrast Chick-fil-A's experience with that of Starbucks, which has suffered an 11% drop in stock since proclaiming a company-wide declaration in support of "redefining" marriage. Oh, and don't forget, 32 states have actually voted on ballot to protect the definition of marriage as between one man and one woman. I am so tired of the lie that "surveys say the majority of Americans favor same-sex marriage," when 64% of our states have already voted and spoken (4 of which have voted during President Obama's excuse for a Presidency).

I am also at a loss to comprehend the second portion of my former friend's comment; the completely contradictory statement that someone is both "gay" and "Christian." A Christian, by definition, is a disciple or a follower of Jesus Christ--one who seeks to emulate Him. As blasphemous as it may sound, this is not the first time I have heard someone profess allegiance to Jehovah while denying Him for homosexuality. It seems to be a growing trend that one can "serve two masters"; that one can have the blessings of discipleship while maintaining a summer home in Babylon. To be fair (yes, I have gay friends), I understand, if someone struggles with same-sex attraction (and professes to be "gay"), but is not acting on those attractions may very well be a follower of our Savior Jesus Christ. I also believe someone who practices homosexuality regrettably, who wants to change but doesn't know how or where to start, may also be a follower of Christ in their heart. Perhaps, even someone involved in homosexuality ignorantly may have desires to follow Christ. However, someone who professes covenants of Christianity while, without remorse, engaging in "vile affections" is in a state of confusion; and "God is not the author of confusion." What adds more to this confusion, is the fact that this gentleman, my former friend, was a Romney supporter. Romney supports a federal marriage amendment, defining marriage as between a man and a woman, and, unlike Obama (puke), Mitt Romney will actually fulfill his constructional oath to defend the "Defense of Marriage Act" when he is President.

In spite of my former friend's perversion of facts, I calmly responded to him in the comments. Alas, no amount of gentle persuasion would satisfy. My former friend seemed to get more and more angry, until he issued the insult, "you are a stupid F#%#" (remember, this is on my personal facebook wall). At that point, regrettably, I had to unfriend him and remove his profane comment. Now, to add insult to injury, this former friend sent me a private message (after I unfriended him), which went like this:
"Nice to make a comment after you deleted me. Whatever it takes for you to feel that you won... God will be asking you, just who do you think you are? Im sure he will remind you of all the times you wasted on correcting others, when you should have been looking in a mirror. Well, it is your salvation, you can waste it on being concerned with me if you want... March on soldier boy. I feel sorry for you."
Once again, to a fault, I took the time to respond to him personally:
"... I'm really not used to this sort of behavior from a Romney supporter... You called me "a stupid F%#%". Is that supposed to encourage further conversation? This is not about winning. What I've said is truth and I cannot excuse it. What I have written has been in the spirit of love. I do not unfriend people unless they cross the line of civilized respect. I spoke the truth and you got angry and used abusive language... I don't know about you but "stupid F%@%" has no place in the vocabulary of my household and I will not tolerate it on my wall -- I don't care who it is directed to. I wish you the best"
He responds:
"You closed further converstation. Just like people like you do all the time. Your way or no way. Sorry, not playing. And btw, you are a stupid F#$%!"
I'm sure you are as tired of seeing that word as I was. I reported the conversation to the facebook abuse team for hate speech harassment and I blocked this former friend from further interaction with me on facebook. What a sad end to a potentially respectful, intelligent debate. It reminds me of Thomas Paine's words:
"Attempting to debate with a person who has abandoned reason is like giving medicine to the dead."
The point: Most people I have discussions with, who support "redefining" marriage, use a lot of exclamation points, language, and repeat the word "Bigot" as if it were the only word in their vocabulary. As it were, those who use the word "Bigot", in this way, have no clue of its proper use (see previous blog "Debunking False Labels of 'Bigotry' Against Chick-fil-A"). Now, allow this "tolerant" "kind" "loving" homosexual activist, who harasses a teen-age Chick-fil-A employee and puts it in on youtube, to drive my point home. Notice the stark contrast of anger vs. the calm and kind responses of the employee:

This homosexual activist, and former CFO of a company, has since been fired from his job for harassing this kind young lady. Good for them! Finally, this post wouldn't be complete without mentioning Obama's "gay" adviser, Dan Savage, who is our best example of loving kindness and "tolerance" so wonderfully emulated by homosexual activists. In this video, Savage is just that--savage; only he is addressing the eager minds of high school students (viewer discretion advised)!

Oh... and here's one more, where homosexual activists harass a homeless man!

Christian Censorship NOT Accepted: Chick-fil-A and America Win Big

I got a text from my brother-in-law in Houston, Texas yesterday, National Eat At Chick-fil-A Day:
"You should see the flood of people at Chick-fil-A today... as I left, they had to start sending people outside because the fire dept. showed up to enforce the fire code regulations!"
I wrote him back:
"AWESOME. America speaks again! I'm going right now."
Well, I took my little family of four, including my wife and three kids, to Chick-fil-A in American Fork, Utah, and I could not believe my eyes. Behold the crowd:

The line of cars wrapped around the parking lot twice and overflowed into the street! I have never seen anything like it... well, at least outside of Disneyland I haven't.

Can anyone deny the principles held in the United States of America? Let us recap on the reason this is such a big deal. Dan Cathy, CEO of Chick-fil-A, states to the Baptist Press, July 16, 2012:
"We are very much supportive of the family -- the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that... We operate as a family business ... our restaurants are typically led by families; some are single. We want to do anything we possibly can to strengthen families. We are very much committed to that. (emphasis added)"
Dan also stated in the same interview:

"We don't claim to be a Christian business"

Cathy attended a business leadership conference many years ago where he heard Christian businessman Fred Roach say, "There is no such thing as a Christian business." "That got my attention," Cathy said. Roach went on to say, "Christ never died for a corporation. He died for you and me." "In that spirit ... [Christianity] is about a personal relationship. Companies are not lost or saved, but certainly individuals are," Cathy added:
"But as an organization we can operate on biblical principles. So that is what we claim to be. [We are] based on biblical principles, asking God and pleading with God to give us wisdom on decisions we make about people and the programs and partnerships we have. And He has blessed us."
In other words, this expression was a personal belief of Mr. Cathy. Dan explained his personal convictions further on the Ken Coleman Show:
"I think we are inviting God's judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at Him and say 'we know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage' and I pray God's mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to try to redefine what marriage is about"
As is old news, Chick-fil-A has been illegally discriminated against, due to Cathy's personally-held beliefs. The Chicago government has gone as far as is trying to boycott Chick-fil-A from obtaining business permits. Human Rights Campaign posted this on the landing page of their website and have been viciously campaigning against Chick-fil-A, since Cathy's statements:

I have watched Chick-fil-A's facebook fan count go from 5.1 million, at the time Cathy made these statements, to over 6 million, in a matter of a month--that's over 900,000 additional fans in a month. Mike Huckabee's Eat At Chick-fil-A Day event had nearly 700,000 confirm attendance. Just in case there are still doubters... perhaps my experience was just a fluke, check out National Organization for Marriage's blog, where they have pictures of Chick-fil-As bursting at the seems all across the nation.

No one can deny, unless they have abandoned all sanity, America has unequivocally spoken on this matter... we will support and uphold an individual's right to hold Christian beliefs, without bigotry, discrimination, or government-sponsored coercion. Period. Therein lies the conflict of "redefining" marriage... it cannot be done without irreparable damage to the First Amendment of the US Constitution.

Let this day echo in history forever.

God Save The United States of America.
